Academic Institute for Qualified Methods and Predictive Structures
Our working definitions of methods and structural competence
For AQPS, methods competence means selecting an approach that fits the task, examining its prerequisites and justifying its application. Structural competence connects tasks, people, information and decision rights into a transparent way of working. Professional knowledge remains essential.
In AI-supported work, this includes task selection, output assessment and responsibility for use. Corporate programmes and the Expert Pathway translate this perspective into learning tasks. The Journal discusses the arguments and their limits.

A specialised perspective on effective organisations.
AQPS is an institute based in Graz with an international outlook. Its focus is the methodological and structural foundation of effective work: how does knowledge become a transparent approach, and how does that approach become a system that enables people to act?
Our vision
A working world where people and organisations navigate complexity and make responsible, forward-looking decisions.
Our mission
Make methods and structural competence accessible through published knowledge, applied education and qualified teaching partnerships.
Our ambition
Help shape this field internationally through clear concepts, assessable performance standards and transparent limits.

The connection to Uwe Seebacher’s work.
Seebacher’s Template-based Management explores structured, reusable approaches to professional work. His publications on Predictive Intelligence describe models for embedding forward-looking, data-informed management in organisations.
AQPS connects these perspectives in its educational design: select methods with a rationale, structure ways of working and develop decisions systematically. The new certificate programmes are an educational design of the institute; the books themselves do not confer certification.
