AQPS
Academic Institute for Qualified Methods and Professional Structures
Welcome to the AQPS Institute, where cutting-edge research meets professional excellence to shape the future of methodology and organizational development.
Who We Are
We are an carefully selected international team of methods and structural professionals and scientists. With our many years in diverse industries we are called in whenever one matter area needs substantial and thought leading expertise and advise. It is the synergy of academia, business and science that makes our approach unique.
What We Are
At the AQPS Institute, we stand at the confluence of rigor and innovation, dedicated to elevating the significance of methods and structures in professional practice. Our commitment lies in providing the foundation necessary for stringency and consistency, which are indispensable for applying expertise across any matter area effectively. By fostering a deep understanding of systematic approaches and organized frameworks, we enable professionals to not only navigate but excel in their respective fields. Our ethos is rooted in the belief that a solid grasp of methodological and structural principles is the cornerstone of impactful, enduring expertise. Join us to redefine excellence and transform potential into achievement.
The Origins
In 2003 the first edition of the standard text book in modern methods and structural sciences was published with international recognized Springer New York publishing. The book was authored by one of today´s world leading and most recognized expert and faculty, Prof. Dr. Uwe Seebacher (MBA). The book featured case studies from globally leading companies such as the Allianz Group, BASF or Deloitte Consulting. These organizations had the privilege to take advantage of modern methods and structural sciences.
The State-of-the-Art
In 2022 the lastest edition of the standard text book in modern methods and structural sciences was published under the title “Template based Management” – again by the today leading methods and structural scientist Prof. Dr. Uwe Seebacher (MBA). It has evolved hand-in-hand with the evolution of business: Agile, Blueprints, Canvas, Design Thinking, or Kanban are only few of the many current concepts based on the approach.

Our Focus
The core focus areas of modern methods and structural sciences encompass a wide range of disciplines, each dedicated to understanding and optimizing the frameworks and processes that underpin both natural phenomena and human endeavors. Here are several key focus areas:
Data Analysis and Statistics
This area focuses on the development and application of statistical models, data analysis techniques, and quantitative methods to interpret and make informed decisions based on complex datasets.
Systems Engineering and Analysis
This involves understanding and optimizing complex systems, including their design, integration, and management, often applied in fields like manufacturing, aerospace, and information technology.
Computational Modeling and Simulation
The use of computer simulations and models to study and predict complex systems’ behavior. This is crucial in fields like climate science, economics, and bioinformatics.
Process Optimization and Management
This focuses on improving and streamlining operational processes in various industries to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality.
Organizational Structure and Behavior
The study of how individuals, groups, and structures affect behavior within organizations, aiming to apply this knowledge to make organizations work more effectively.
Decision Sciences
Combining the fields of statistics, operations research, and project management to make informed, data-driven decisions.
Structural Analysis and Design
In engineering, this pertains to understanding the forces and movements in physical structures and designing them to be safe, stable, and sustainable.
Network Science
This area examines the complex web of connections within and between systems, including social networks, internet networks, and biological networks, to understand how information, diseases, and ideas propagate.
Sustainability and Resilience
Focusing on creating systems and structures that are sustainable and resilient to environmental changes, economic shifts, and other global challenges.
